Lufthansa will reduce operations on a number of routes in July due to staff shortages and capacity issues.

Flight routes from Munich to Belgrade and Zagreb have to face up to it: the connections from the Bavarian capital to Belgrade will be reduced from the planned 21 weekly flights to thirteen weekly connections, while Zagreb will be scaled back from seven weekly rotations to six. This is reported by the online medium Ex-Yu Aviation.

In both Europe and North America, thousands of flights have been canceled in recent weeks and the travel plans of hundreds of thousands of passengers have been disrupted, mainly due to airport staffing shortages. The rapid lifting of Covid-19 restrictions since March has resulted in a significant increase in demand for air travel, with passenger numbers not recorded in more than two years.
