Life is slowly but surely returning to Munich Airport. Currently, an average of 400 take-offs and landings are carried out per day. These are used by around 30.000 travelers. The shopping and dining options were gradually ramped up again.

In both terminals, in the Munich Airport Center (MAC) and in the visitor park, a total of more than 20 restaurants and bars, around 45 shops and six car rental companies are open. In view of the increasing traffic, Munich Airport is once again becoming a popular location for new and innovative retail and catering concepts: The “Hard Rock Cafe Munich Airport Rock Shop” is starting in the MAC (Level 03 at the transition to T1). Rock music fans can stock up on the world-famous collector's items and memorabilia from the Hard Rock Cafe there. There has also been an attractive new addition to the catering at the airport since May: "dean & david", a Munich company that stands for healthy food, high-quality ingredients and sustainable consumption, offers salads and bowls in Terminal 2, Level 04 after the security check or smoothies.

In addition, passengers in “MyDutyFree” in Terminal 2, Level 04, are now offered a new service: In a “hospitality area” equipped with a counter and chairs, customers can get information and advice on products in a relaxed atmosphere.

Passengers who want an exclusive service can also use the lounges in the recently reopened Terminal 1 - temporarily with limited opening times. The Airport Lounge Europe (Module D) is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m., the Airport Lounge World (Module B) daily from 10:00 a.m. to 18:30 p.m. The VipWing in Terminal 1 (Module E) is also available to travelers again. Further information on the lounges is available on the websites www.munich-airport.de/airportloungeworld and www.munich-airport.de/airportloungeeurope. Information on VipWing can be found under the link www.munich-airport.de/vipwing.
