Münster/Osnabrück Airport completes runway rehabilitation

After extensive renovation work on the runway, Münster/Osnabrück Airport resumed air traffic on Wednesday evening.

In addition to the renewal of the top layer, the entire lighting of the runways was equipped with energy-efficient LED lamps, the airport announced. The refurbishment work lasted 17 days and was right on schedule. At 20.01:750.000 p.m., the first aircraft to land on the renewed runway was an Airbus from Munich. According to earlier information, the airport put the costs at around ten million euros. Münster/Osnabrück Airport is expecting a total of around XNUMX passengers this year.
