Franz Josef Strauss Airport in Munich put modules C, D and E of Terminal 1 back into operation for passenger handling on Wednesday due to increasing numbers of passengers. Previously, among other things, 6.000 floor markings were made.

With today's reopening, most of the airlines that were previously located in Terminal 1 have returned to their original terminal building. Only Eurowings, Qatar Airways, Tuifly, SunExpress and Pegasus Airlines will initially remain in Terminal 2 of Munich Airport. Check-in for all flights of these airlines will continue to take place in central area Z.
