British Airways, at Nuremberg Airport since March 2022, is strengthening the connection to London Heathrow and creating new transfer connections to North America.

In addition to New York, Boston, Chicago and Washington, Seattle, Philadelphia and Portland will also be adjusted to the flight times from Nuremberg from the 2023 summer timetable, as well as Toronto in Canada. "British Airways has been the preferred candidate for many passengers from the Nuremberg metropolitan region for many years and will really take off next summer," says Michael Hupe, Managing Director at Nuremberg Airport. In addition, British Airways commutes six times a week – Sunday to Friday – between Nuremberg and London Heathrow in the summer timetable

Thanks to optimized flight times, both of the major airports in New York, JFK and Newark, can be reached via Heathrow with particularly attractive transfer times. British Airways docks at the new Terminal 8 in JFK. British Airways also offers the fastest route to Portland. "These are great connections to and from Nuremberg," agrees Olaf Schrems, Key Account Manager Corporate British Airways/Iberia, adding: "All flights to JFK and Newark offer the new Business Class product 'Club Suite'." Thanks to British Airways All three major airline alliances are represented at Nuremberg Airport: Star Alliance, SkyTeam and – with British Airways – now also Oneworld Alliance.
