There is now a new gastronomic offer at Hamburg Airport: "Fiete & Frida". In the immediate vicinity of Gate A17, travelers can immerse themselves in the North German flair and enjoy regional specialties behind the security checkpoint. The new concept, which is operated by long-term partner Marché, is intended to make passengers' stay even more pleasant and enrich the airport's culinary offering.
"Fiete & Frida" focuses on authentic North German cuisine in a modern, maritime ambience. Travelers can try classic fish sandwiches, filled smörrebröd and hearty sandwiches. For sweet treats, there are Franzbrötchen, cinnamon rolls and red fruit compote to choose from. The new restaurant not only offers a wide selection of regional dishes, but also a spectacular panoramic view of the airport apron.
The dining options are open daily from 04:30 a.m. to 21:30 p.m. and are an ideal place for a quick snack before the flight as well as for travelers who want to treat themselves to a break. Lutz Deubel, Head of Center Management at Hamburg Airport, emphasizes that "Fiete & Frida" is intended to give travelers a taste of Hamburg's way of life.
