Wizz Air is expanding its route network from Germany with two new connections from April 2025. From Leipzig, the airline will start flying to Varna on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast twice a week from April 29. At the same time, the connection from Hamburg to Kutaisi in Georgia will return to the flight schedule, with flights from April 15, also on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Varna, with its famous Golden Sands, is a popular destination for families and beach holidaymakers. With the new route, Wizz Air now offers a total of seven connections from Germany to the Bulgarian coastal town. Kutaisi, the third largest city in Georgia, is an important hub for business, culture and industry in western Georgia. In addition to Hamburg, Wizz Air also flies to Kutaisi from Memmingen, Frankfurt Hahn, Dortmund and Berlin.
