November: LTN shows a 90 percent decline

The Corona crisis is causing the traffic figures in London-Luton to continue to melt: Only 105.000 passengers traveled via the airport in November, a decrease of 90 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

This would mean that the numbers would still be at a very low level. But, as is well known, hope dies last. And the UK airports have reason to be hopeful, too. Because the government will introduce the “test-to-release” program from December 15, thereby creating the possibility of ending the quarantine prematurely after five days with a negative corona test. As of now, you have to spend a full 14 days in self-isolation, as they say.
