The autumn holidays are already approaching. 16 airlines fly from Nuremberg Airport to 40 travel destinations, including more Spanish programs than ever before in the winter season.

Seville will be offered for the first time non-stop from Nuremberg from the end of October. Five destinations will be served on the Spanish mainland - more than ever before in a winter flight schedule. In addition to Seville as a new destination, these are Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga and Valencia, which previously could only be reached directly in summer. Spring-like temperatures in the middle of winter can be expected on Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife. Of course, Mallorca should not be missing, with almost a daily flight connection. Then there are the Portuguese Faro and Madeira.

Egypt is also back in the Nuremberg winter timetable: in addition to Hurghada, Marsa Alam is a second diving paradise on the Red Sea. Turkey is well represented with Antalya, Izmir and the two large Istanbul airports. Friends of Greece can look forward to Thessaloniki, while Italy lures with Bologna, Naples and Venice. Ryanair has one Record winter schedule in the luggage.

In the winter timetable, Lufthansa will once again connect its hub in Frankfurt with feeder flights up to five times a day. Austrian Airlines supplements the offer of the Lufthansa Group with two off-peak connections to Vienna on working days. Furthermore, Turkish Airlines connects Nuremberg Airport to the Istanbul hub at least twice a day. Air France and KLM are also on the program with up to three daily connections to Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam. The British Airways connection to London Heathrow, which was only added in the spring from Nuremberg, is still included.

Frankfurt the only direct connection within Germany

With the exception of Lufthansa's Frankfurt feeder, there are no longer any direct connections within Germany. "Due to low demand, Düsseldorf and Hamburg, which were still being served by Eurowings at the beginning of the year, have been removed from the flight schedule," the airport said in a press release.
