Vueling has been represented at Nuremberg Airport with the connection to Barcelona since 2013. The Spanish airline has also been flying to Paris-Orly Airport since yesterday.
The new connection is offered by Vueling on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Paris-Orly Airport is, alongside Charles de Gaulle Airport, the second airport in the French capital to be served non-stop from Nuremberg (Charles de Gaulle with Air France). For the new connection from Nuremberg, an Airbus A330 will initially be used, which will be replaced by the more economical A320 Neo at the end of November.
“Paris is one of the most attractive city destinations from Nuremberg and is also an important destination for business. That is why we are particularly pleased about this enrichment of our flight plan with Vueling ”, says airport manager Michael Hupe.
“I am very pleased to present the first Vueling flight between Nuremberg and Paris-Orly today. Vueling's goal is to continue contributing to the tourism industry. The decision to include the new routes between Germany and France goes exactly in this direction. People's wanderlust is still there and we are ready to offer our customers new popular destinations, both for leisure and business travelers, ”adds Ulla Bär, Country Manager Germany at Vueling.
