With the new social media campaign “NoSki Instructor”, the Austrian Tourist Board (ÖW) has launched a creative initiative to promote winter activities in Austria other than skiing.

Actor and cabaret artist Maximilian Ratzenböck presents various winter experiences that take place away from the slopes in a humorous way. The campaign is aimed at markets in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland and aims to portray the Austrian attitude to life and the experiences of ski instructors.

The campaign includes teaser videos as well as detailed "NoSki Lessons" that focus on winter activities such as winter hiking, saunas and ice baths. The videos are shared on a special microsite and on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Sandra Stichauner, Chief Marketing Officer of Austria Tourism, emphasizes that Austria is not only known for its slopes, but also for its diverse winter program. The campaign is part of the 2024/25 winter marketing strategy and shows the invitation to guests to experience the various facets of the Austrian winter.
