Oman waives the additional PCR test for vaccinated people

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Since March 1, 2022, Oman has applied simplified entry regulations. People who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 benefit from these, because they now do not have to submit a negative PCR test.

The prerequisite for this is that the last necessary vaccination dose was administered at least 14 days before crossing the border. The regulations for unvaccinated travelers have not changed.

There is also an exception for minors: Persons under the age of 18 do not need a negative PCR test when entering the country, regardless of their vaccination status. Adults are only spared this if full vaccination against Covid-19 can be proven.
