From May 2, 2022, the Italian Lufthansa subsidiary Air Dolomiti will fly up to three times a day between Innsbruck and Frankfurt am Main. The connection to the Lufthansa hub is currently unused. As an alternative, there is a Lufthansa bus to Munich, which is, however, extremely underutilized.

"We are very pleased about the resumption of the route to Frankfurt and the associated connection to one of the largest international aviation hubs," says airport manager Marco Pernetta and adds: "With Air Dolomiti and their modern Embraer jets, we will have this in the future important route is also a high quality product. "

Three daily rotations are planned, including the daily fringe connection, which is so important for the domestic economy, with the best connections to the worldwide Lufthansa route network. The flights will be bookable from the middle of next week on www.lufthansa.com or www.airdolomiti.de.
