From the end of 2025, Frontier Airlines, the US ultra-low-cost carrier, will make a remarkable change in its aircraft offering: The airline will introduce first-class seats on its aircraft for the first time. An additional benefit for frequent flyers: Free companion trips
Frontier is further incentivizing customers with a program for Platinum and Diamond elite members. Starting in mid-2025, these passengers will be able to enjoy free, unlimited companion travel, an option that allows them to travel with a selected partner without paying an additional fee. This is in contrast to competitors such as Southwest Airlines, where a companion pass is awarded annually but is only valid for one named person.
A notable difference with Frontier is that passengers do not have to choose a specific companion – the benefit can be used again on each trip, giving guests a high level of flexibility. The companions only need to Frontier Milesaccount to be able to take advantage of the benefit.
