On January 2, 2025, a tragic plane crash occurred in Fullerton, California, near the city's airport. A single-engine Van RV10 aircraft with the registration N8757R crashed onto the roof of a warehouse at around 14:10 p.m. The impact sparked a fire and caused significant damage to the building.

According to initial reports, the pilot and one other person were killed. In addition, 18 people were injured, nine of whom were taken to local hospitals. Others were treated on site. Video footage showed a large hole in the roof of the warehouse and thick smoke, while rescue workers initiated extensive measures.

Authorities cordoned off a large area and warned of traffic disruptions. This incident raises renewed questions about safety in the area surrounding the airport, as a similar crash occurred in the region in November 2024.
