As part of the takeover by the Zeitfracht Group, Rostock-Laage Airport is getting another managing director in Maren Wolters. Dörthe Hausmann remains in office and is appointed spokeswoman for the management.

According to Zeitfracht, the changes at the top of the airport will come into force on January 1, 2022. The Zeitfracht Group will take over the airport at the beginning of 2022; a few days ago the three previous owners gave the green light for the sale of the airport and the further development under the responsibility of the Berlin family business.

29-year-old Maren Wolters is already the managing director of the Zeitfracht Group's airline, German Airways, and sits on the supervisory board of Adler Modemärkte. With the parallel assumption of responsibility as managing director for Rostock-Laage Airport, Zeitfracht is sending a clear signal for the rapid integration of the company into the Zeitfracht Group in the coming months. Above all, Maren Wolters will ensure that airport activities are quickly and closely interlinked with the existing aviation activities of the Zeitfracht Group. The industrial engineer will also be in charge of the planned construction of a logistics center at the Rostock-Laage location.
