Ryanair Group CEO Michael O'Leary's contract has been extended early for a further four years. The manager, who has been in charge of the low-cost company since 1994, is expected to head the group until 2028.

Whether Michael O'Leary will extend it again afterwards is unclear. Under his management, Ryanair developed from a loss-making regional airline to Europe's largest low-cost airline. However, there is always strong criticism of the working conditions and of O'Leary personally.
