The Ryanair subsidiary Malta Air will station a fifth Boeing 2023-737 at the German regional airport of Weeze in the 800 summer flight schedule. At the same time, four additional routes will be added: Castellon, Copenhagen, Seville and Rhodes.

“Ryanair will operate 35 routes to/from Düsseldorf Weeze this summer. The deployment of this fifth aircraft represents another $100 million investment in Düsseldorf Weeze and secures more than 1.200 jobs, including 150 high-paying jobs for pilots, crew members and engineers. Ryanair continues to grow, offering citizens/visitors to Dusseldorf and Weeze greater choice and greater reliability, while also promoting inbound traffic to the region,” said Annika Ledeboer, Ryanair's Country Manager DACH & Nordics.

Weeze Airport Director Sebastian Pabst adds: “We are very pleased that the fifth Ryanair aircraft will be stationed at our airport. Our German and Dutch guests will now have an even greater choice of attractive destinations”.
