A man caused a stir at Manchester Airport on Friday evening when he mistakenly boarded the wrong Easyjet flight to Milan.

The incident caused a delay to the flight as all passengers were asked to leave the aircraft for additional security checks. Greater Manchester Police confirmed that the passenger was unable to produce valid paperwork. However, nothing suspicious or terrorist-related was found during subsequent checks. The man, who is in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of attempting to hide and causing a public nuisance. The airline Easyjet has launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the boarding error.
