The low-cost airline Scoot will initially add nine Embraer E190-E2 regional jets to its fleet. These are obtained from the lessor Azorra. The machines will have 112 seats.

The Singapore Airlines subsidiary will take over the Embraer jets from 2024 to the end of 2025. The deal is of particular importance for the manufacturer, because for the first time there will be an operator of this pattern in Singapore. Scoot: "It will effectively complement the larger Airbus A320 Family and Boeing 787 aircraft in Scoot's fleet and serve thinner routes to destinations outside the Singapore metropolitan area."
