The Italian regional airline Sky Alps has put the first two of four new routes into operation from Mostar. The airline opened flights from the city to Verona and Munich yesterday, which will be followed by flights to Rome and Bari tomorrow.

All services will be operated with the Dash 8 Q400 turboprop. The flights are subsidized by the local authorities to improve the city's connectivity. "We are pleased that the first flights of Sky Alps have started operating today as planned. All services will operate twice a week, offering flexibility to passengers," Mostar Airport said. Sky Alps will be Mostar's largest scheduled carrier this summer season, both in terms of planned flight operations and available capacity.
