SSP opens Burger King in BER Terminal 1

A franchisee has opened a Burger King branch in Terminal 1 of Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. This is around 285 square meters in size and has 120 seats.

The operator is the SSP Group, which is already active at BER under other brands. The opening of the first Burger King in the public area of ​​Terminal 1 is the start of further new catering units at BER. In early 2024, SSP Group will open a second Burger King in the food court behind airport security checkpoints. A second Starbucks, also operated by SSP, will supplement the dining offering in the food court next year. The award was preceded by an EU concession award procedure in which the concessions to operate four catering areas in Terminal 1 of BER Airport were awarded.
