The Boeing 767-300 with the registration N191DN suffered a bird strike on May 31, 2023 during climb at Stockholm-Arlanda. The pilots decided to turn back to the Swedish airport.

Previously, fuel was dumped over the Baltic Sea because the long-haul aircraft was supposed to fly to New York-JFK as DL205. According to police, it is still unclear whether the Delta machine was hit by one or more birds.

About an hour after takeoff, the N191DN landed safely in Arlanda. As a precaution, rescue teams were kept ready, but fortunately they were not needed.
