Stuttgart Airport launches discount app

Advertising

There are as many loyalty cards as a dime a dozen with which you can collect points or receive discounts. Now Stuttgart-Echterdingen Airport is also introducing one.

The new program is called “STRplus” and is a digital customer card in the form of an app. This is intended to grant discounts at shops, restaurants and service providers at the airport. However, it is not an additional app, but a new function of the existing one at the airport.

According to Stuttgart Airport, a welcome voucher, which can be redeemed in participating shops, should be issued during registration. An example of discounts is up to 50 percent on individual burgers at Mc Donalds. Obviously, with this program, the airport wants to give tenants a hand and attract more local residents to the airport to go shopping.
