From July 14, 2021, passengers on the Stuttgart Airport area can more or less be vaccinated without a specific date. By presenting a ticket or a booking confirmation for a trip that is in the near future, you can be vaccinated with the vaccines from Biontech / Pfizer and Moderna.

The district of Esslingen is setting up the vaccination center in the exhibition center, which is located opposite the passenger terminals. According to the state of Baden Württemberg, no advance booking is required, but is recommended if you want to avoid any queues.

Both first and second vaccinations are administered. Theoretically it is also possible to get the vaccination immediately before departure, but the district of Esslingen recommends that in this case you should show up at least four hours before departure and in any case reserve a “vaccination slot” in advance.

The way between the exhibition center and the terminals can easily be covered on foot. It is only a few steps and the paths are well signposted. Important: Any luggage may not be taken into the vaccination center. For this purpose, 1 lockers are provided near the terminal. Alternatively, you could hand in your suitcase before the vaccination.
