The airline Easyjet is planning to serve three routes from Vienna-Schwechat and two from Innsbruck in the 2022 summer flight schedule. There will be no rumored comeback of the Graz-Berlin connection – at least for the time being.

In the current winter period, Easyjet operates regularly from the Austrian airports of Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck. The destinations Amsterdam, Berlin and Basel are offered from the capital. The city of Mozart is connected to Amsterdam, Berlin, Bristol, Hamburg, Lodon-Gatwick, London-Luton and Liverpool. The airport of the state capital of Tyrol is connected to Amsterdam, Berlin, Bristol, London-Gatwick, London-Luton and Manchester. In some cases, the routes that lead to the “skier airports” will be included in the 2022 summer timetable for a few weeks.

No comeback for Graz-Berlin for the time being

According to a spokeswoman, Easyjet is planning to fly to Amsterdam, Berlin and Basel from Vienna in the 2022 summer flight schedule. Berlin and London-Gatwick are to be offered from Innsbruck. Further routes are not planned with the current state of affairs. The media officer said: "As we have throughout the pandemic, we are continuously reviewing our flight program to ensure we are aligning our flight schedule with customer demand."

Before the corona pandemic, Easyjet also had a non-stop connection between Berlin and Graz in its portfolio. In contrast to other routes offered by the carrier from Austria, this connection has not yet been reactivated. It will remain so for the summer of 2022. “EasyJet confirms that the flight connection between Berlin and Graz was discontinued in March 2020. We regularly monitor and review our routes to ensure our network is meeting customer demand. We will announce further plans for the 2022 summer and winter flight schedule in due course,” said a company spokeswoman.
