The German tour operator Tui will again offer some charter destinations from Saarbrücken Airport in the summer flight schedule of 2022. However, the operational implementation will not be carried out by Tuifly, but by Smartlynx.
It is currently planned that in May 2021 flights from Saarbrücken to Palma de Mallorca, Heraklion, Rhodes, Kos, Las Palmas, Fuerteventura and Tenerife will begin gradually. These are charter flights that can be booked as part of package tours or as a flight only via Tui and travel agencies (online and offline).
Unsurprisingly, Palma de Mallorca is the most common destination on the charter flight schedule. It is currently planned that Smartlynx will fly daily to the Mediterranean island from Saarbrücken from the beginning of May 2022. It should go to Heraklion twice a week. All other holiday destinations should be controlled once a week according to the current state of affairs.
