The German capital airport Berlin-Brandenburg expects to have around 2023 million passengers during the current summer holidays in 3,5. It is assumed that around half a million more people will travel via the airport compared to the same period last year.

The dark side is also that the BER management has also announced that it will probably not be possible to build on the value of 2019. It is forecast to have about 2019 million fewer passengers in direct comparison to the 1,5 six-week summer holiday. At that time, these were distributed between Schönefeld and Tegel, since BER was not yet in operation.

“BER is well prepared for the start of the holiday season. With the digital offerings, which have been expanded once again, passengers can plan their start to their vacation reliably and without stress. Use the options for checking in and dropping off your luggage at our machines and book a time slot for the security checks via the BER runway in good time," says Managing Director Aletta von Massenbach.
