The holiday airline Sundair celebrated its comeback on Saturday at the German regional airport Kassel-Calden. The carrier performed a Heraklion rotation. The carrier has also been flying to Palma de Mallorca again since Monday. MHS Aviation has also been offering two weekly flights to Sylt since May under the “Rhein Neckar Air” brand.

“Summer, sun, beach and more are finally possible again this year. We are very pleased that international air travel for sun-hungry holidaymakers from Kassel is again possible right on time for the start of the summer holidays. The protection and health of our guests and employees is our top priority and we have taken appropriate precautions so that relaxed flying from Kassel is possible again despite the ongoing corona pandemic, "says Lars Ernst, Managing Director of Flughafen GmbH Kassel.
