SunExpress announces major order from Boeing

The airline SunExpress has ordered up to 90 Boeing 737 Max. The airline is pursuing ambitious goals: the fleet is to be doubled by the next decade in order to become more competitive.

The airline SunExpress has big plans. The airline has specifically set itself the goal of doubling its fleet by the next decade and playing in the international league. The major Boeing order initially includes 28 737-8 aircraft and 17 737-10 aircraft, with the option of a further order for 45 737 Max aircraft. The new aircraft are expected to bring other advantages in addition to competitiveness. Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions should be reduced by 20 percent compared to the older models in the company's own fleet.
