In the absence of demand, the Lufthansa Group is reducing the supply at Dresden Airport. Group member Swiss will completely suspend the non-stop connection to Zurich from January 16, 2022.

For the time being, the Swiss airline will not be heading for Dresden until February 18, 2022. This means that there is no longer any connection to the Zurich hub. Swiss confirmed that the route will be suspended due to weak demand. It is currently assumed that you will be flying again in around four weeks.

Lufthansa is making cuts on the Dresden routes. These are sometimes extensive, but according to the current state of information, no routes should be completely paused. Eurowings already withdrew capacity in December 2021 and is currently also flying a reduced number of flights from Dresden.
