TAP Air Portugal announces new transatlantic routes from May 2025. For the first time, the airline will connect Lisbon directly with Los Angeles and Porto with Boston.

The connection to Los Angeles will be operated with an Airbus A330-900, while the Porto-Boston route will be served with an Airbus A321-Long Range. In addition, a flight between Lisbon and San Francisco will in future make a stopover in Terceira, Azores. The new routes underline TAP's focus on transatlantic connections.
