Travel trends in February 2025: Popular, affordable and highly sought-after destinations

Current flight bookings for February 2025 show clear trends in popular travel destinations, affordable destinations and cities with growing interest. According to current data, "All locations" is the most popular flexible search option, followed by classic European city destinations such as Alicante, Porto and Glasgow. Sunny destinations such as Paphos and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria are also very popular.

Some destinations are particularly notable for their strong increase in demand. Kaunas in Lithuania, for example, has seen the highest increase in searches, followed by Reggio Calabria in Italy and Castellón de la Plana in Spain. Cities such as Sofia, Paphos and Katowice are also experiencing increased attention. These trends indicate that travelers are increasingly looking for new, less frequented destinations.

If you're on the price side, you'll find particularly cheap flights to Paphos, Budapest or Milan, with average prices between 71 and 83 euros for a return flight in economy class. Porto, Alicante and Dublin are also among the more affordable destinations. There are also some extremely cheap individual routes, for example from Baden-Baden to Banja Luka or from Berlin to Vilnius from 30 euros.
