Tuifly is increasing its capacity over the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year by 36.000 seats to the south and back.
Half of it is in the Canary Islands, the rest in Portugal, Egypt and Cape Verde, as the company announced. “The Christmas holidays are traditionally a very popular travel period when families and couples use the days off at the end of the year to take a break in the sun. The Canaries in particular are one of the most popular winter destinations, which is why we have expanded our capacities here again. The focus is on Fuerteventura with 40 additional flights between December 21 and January 9, in order to enable our guests to plan their vacation as flexibly as possible, ”says Oliver Lackmann, Managing Director of Tuifly GmbH.
In addition to the Canaries, the Cape Verde Islands are particularly popular with Tui holidaymakers this winter. The tourism group is therefore launching an additional direct Tuifly flight to Boa Vista and Sal from its home airport in Hanover. Until the end of March 2022, the holiday airline from the capital of Lower Saxony will be heading for Cape Verde on Mondays and Tuesdays. The airline also flies to Cape Verde from Frankfurt and Düsseldorf twice a week. Once a week there is a trip from Munich and Stuttgart to the sunny islands.
