The Lufthansa flight attendants represented by the UFO union accepted the wage agreement of November 1, 2022 with an 86,6 percent majority. Voting ended on Thursday.

Among other things, it is planned that the crisis collective agreement will be terminated, the functional allowances will be increased by up to 30 percent, expenses will be increased by 20 percent and wages will be increased by around 12 percent. Furthermore, a part-time model is to be abolished.

“We are very pleased about the great approval of our membership. This also confirms our assessment that we were able to achieve a good and balanced bargaining result, from which all employees in the Lufthansa cabin can only win. Because the salary increases were not "bought" with expensive concessions, according to Stefan Schwerthelm, UFO board member for collective bargaining policy.
