With effect from October 4, 2021, the UK part of England is loosening the entry requirements for people who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. There is then no need to submit a negative PCR test, but only if you come from countries that are classified as “Green” or “Amber”.

Carrying out a corona test on the second day after entry should continue to be. The fact that rapid antigen tests are now also accepted instead of PCR is being relaxed here. The prerequisite is that you are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and the vaccine is approved in the United Kingdom.

They remain unchanged provisions for people who want to enter from red countries. Regardless of whether you are vaccinated or not: A hotel quarantine for a fee must be taken. There are also several PCR tests to be completed. A negative result must also be presented upon entry.
