Uniform corona protective measures in future

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

There is currently a real patchwork quilt within Europe regarding the corona protective measures in passenger aviation. The transport ministers of the EU member states now want to change that and have agreed on uniform standards.

This should make things easier for airlines and passengers, because the provisions, requirements and regulations should then be uniform in all 27 EU countries. An essential part of the agreement is that all travelers, provided they are at least six years old, must wear mouth and nose protection on board and in the terminals.

There should also be clear and unambiguous guidelines for the airlines with regard to cleaning intervals. More details will be worked out over the next few days and weeks. These should then be published.
