On the New York (Newark)-Geneva route, United Airlines is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the route this year. With the exception of interruptions during the corona pandemic, the route has been active since March 2003. In total, there were around 12.000 flights and 1,7 million travelers.

“United has been connecting Geneva with the USA for two decades now. There is a non-stop flight to the metropolis of New York on the US east coast, and our passengers can transfer to over 70 destinations throughout America from our hub in New York/Newark,” explained Reto Schneider, Country Sales Manager Switzerland and Germany at United Airlines. "We would like to thank our valued customers and the Swiss travel agency for choosing us again and again."
