United Airlines is gradually increasing its presence in the Federal Republic of Germany. The carrier announced that the destination San Francisco will be offered again from Munich in June 2021.

Furthermore, the destinations Chicago and Washington will be served daily again. From July 2, 2021, the US capital will again be served seven times a week from Frankfurt am Main. Due to the corona pandemic, the flight offer was temporarily suspended and was operated on a greatly reduced basis until recently. The background is the strict entry and quarantine regulations on both sides.
