UAE: No more compulsory PCR testing for vaccinated people

Advertising

So far, travelers to Dubai and Abu Dhabi had to show a negative PCR test - whether fully vaccinated or unvaccinated. Now the United Arab Emirates are relaxing entry requirements for fully vaccinated travelers.

In the future, travelers who have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus will no longer be required to undergo a PCR test upon entry. For unvaccinated persons, however, the test obligation remains, they must still show a negative PCR test, which must be carried out within 48 hours before departure. This is reported by the Swiss travel portal About Travel. The Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai have already implemented the new regulations. Proof is no longer required on Etihad flights either. Previously, guests of the Gulf Airline had to show a negative PCR test.
