Verdi strike: only five flights from Cologne/Bonn

Advertising

There should have been 136 passenger flights on Monday, February 27, 2023 in Cologne/Bonn. However, the strike organized by the Verdi union meant that only five connections were actually made. Among them is also a Vienna rotation of Austrian Airlines.

66 take-offs and 65 landings were canceled. Most of the connections have been eliminated altogether. Some flights have been relocated to other airports, which still means additional work for travelers.

“Passengers are urged to check the status of their flight with their airline or tour operator before arriving at the airport. For more information on flight schedules, visit the airport's website at www.koeln-bonn-airport.de. The airport has also set up a service hotline for passengers on 02203-40 4000, which is staffed on Sundays between 16 p.m. and 22 p.m. and Mondays between 5 a.m. and 16 p.m.
