Numerous passengers from Styria and neighboring countries use long-distance buses to travel to Vienna Airport. The offer was largely discontinued due to the closed borders. Now Flixbus is also increasing its presence again. Graz continues to pause.

The green long-distance buses of the operator Flixbus will now be seen more frequently at Vienna-Schwechat Airport, because the passenger transport company is gradually taking up the lines again. The Graz-Vienna Airport line, which is used by many passengers from Styria, continues to pause. Flixbus and Dr. Richard not yet communicated.

Flixbus is currently concentrating on the restoration of traffic from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary to Vienna-Schwechat Airport. Bus connections from Bratislava (including the airport), Györ, Budapest (including the airport), Trnava, Brno, Prague and other cities in Slovakia and the Czech Republic to Vienna Airport are now offered. Competitors Slovak Lines and Regiojet have already been present in Schwechat for several weeks, albeit to a significantly reduced extent.

The long-distance bus routes that connect Vienna Airport with cities in the neighboring countries of Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary are considered to be an important “supplier of passengers”, especially in low-cost air traffic. The domestic connection between Graz and Austria's largest airport has also enjoyed great popularity so far. The time of the resumption has not yet been determined.
