Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Australian regional airline Virgin Australia Regional is currently considering replacing its aging Fokker 100 fleet with modern models from Airbus Canada or Embraer.

The aviation company currently has eight Fokker 100s and six Airbus A320s. These are mainly used on regional routes and for charter flights. According to a report from “Airline Ratings”, management is considering replacing the Fokker 100, which are massively outdated, with Airbus A220-100 or Embraer E190-E2. We are currently in the exploration phase because a final decision has not yet been made.
