In the 2023 summer timetable, low-cost airline Ryanair is adding a fourth Boeing 737-800 operated by Malta Air to its base at Weeze regional airport. At the same time, the carrier announced the inclusion of four additional routes.

Some of the destinations were already on offer in the past. These are Asturias, Milan-Bergamo, Pula and Reus. Frequencies will also be increased on the routes to Agadir, Faro, Malaga, Trapani and Zadar. The latter route is served from Croatia by Airbus A320 from Lauda Europe.
