The German ticket seller Green Airlines intends to market charter flights to Heringsdorf and Hamburg from Weeze. The latter destination is said to be served by an unnamed airline on Tuesday and Thursday service days.

From May 7, 2022, Heringsdorf will be served on Saturdays. The operating carrier that is to carry out the charter flights is not clear from the published flight plan data. The IATA two-letter code GN is currently not assigned, the World Aviation Association confirmed on request. Nevertheless, this is used by the ticket seller Green Airlines.

The charter flights between Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden announced by this company are no longer included in the recently published “summer timetable”. This now seems to focus on Weeze. Charter flights to Westerland are announced again from Paderborn. With regard to Heringsdorf, the local airport did not comment on the fact that tickets between Weeze and Heringsdorf are on sale, but the airport does not list them on its own homepage.
