Some time ago, Laudamotion's technical operations were outsourced and handed over to Ryanair Engineering. With this, the supervision also changed from the Austrian Austro Control to the Irish IAA. Now the previously installed Lauda billboards have been removed.

Laudamotion presented im October 2020 flight operations and gave AOC and operating license at the end of 2020 voluntarily returned to the Austrian authorities. Since then, the company has ceased to be an airline. The previously operated Airbus A320 was sent to Successor Lauda Europe Ltd to hand over. This company flies with Maltese certificates.

The technical operations at Vienna-Schwechat airport have been part of Ryanair Engineering for a long time and are currently the only location of the group of companies that also carries out Airbus A320 maintenance. Heavy maintenance is the last one externally at the DAE subsidiary Joramco have it carried out. At the hangar in Vienna there is now nothing outwardly reminiscent of Lauda or its predecessor Niki, because the logos were removed this week.
