The airline Eurowings Europe plans to operate a non-stop connection between Amsterdam and Salzburg in the 2023/24 winter flight schedule. Aircraft stationed in the city of Mozart are to be used.

The new addition is to be offered seasonally from December 1, 2023. According to available flight plan data, which Aeroroutes initially reported on, Eurowings wants to fly on Friday and Sunday. The non-stop route between Schiphol Airport and Salzburg should primarily be aimed at Dutch people who want to spend their winter holidays in the surrounding ski areas. It is currently completely open whether the route could also be continued in the 2024 summer flight schedule if there is sufficient demand.
