Winter 2024/25: Lufthansa flies Frankfurt-Philadelphia itself again

In the 2024/25 winter flight schedule, Lufthansa intends to use its own aircraft again to operate a long-haul connection, Frankfurt-Philadelphia, which it has handed over to its subsidiary Discover Airlines.

According to a report from the Aeroroutes.com portal, it is planned that the Discover Airlines route will switch back to Lufthansa effective October 27, 2024. The crane plans to fly from Frankfurt to Philadelphia five times a week with an Airbus A340-300. The changes have already been made visible in the Lufthansa Group reservation system.
