The Maltese airline Corendon Europe has a clear focus on Egypt in the 2022/23 winter flight schedule. One offers under Hurghada and/the Marsa Alam from a total of 20 airports in Belgium, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The lion's share of the supply is accounted for by the Federal Republic of Germany.

However, Corendon also took in the last few days extensive cuts in the forthcoming winter flight schedule 2022/23. Many Turkey connections from Germany are affected, but also some Madeira, Canary Islands and Egypt routes. The routes to the Bosphorus state are usually served with aircraft from the Turkish airline, while Corendon Europe or Wetlease partners are mostly used on the other routes.

Plans are currently underway to offer the Hurghada destination from the Austrian airports of Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Vienna-Schwechat. From Switzerland you fly from Basel-Mulhouse, although this airport is on French territory. From Germany you want to head to Hurghada from the following airports: Berlin, Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf, Erfurt, Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Münster, Hanover, Leipzig Halle, Weeze, Nuremberg, Rostock, Saarbrücken and Stuttgart. 25 flight connections are planned between Germany and the Egyptian city.

According to the current state of affairs, Marsa Alam is to be served from Hanover, Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn and Nuremberg. Two rotations per week are planned, so that Corendon Europe wants to offer 14 rotations per week from Germany. However, it can still happen that one or the other route to Hurghada and/or Marsa Alam could be removed from the program.
