From Friday, November 15, 2024, the Christmas and winter market at Munich Airport Center (MAC) will open its doors and invite travelers and visitors to take a leisurely stroll until December 31. The market is open daily from 11 a.m. to 21 p.m., only closing at 16 p.m. on Christmas Eve. In the midst of a festively decorated, wintry backdrop with fir trees, over 40 stalls offer a wide selection of winter delicacies, gift items and warm drinks.

A special highlight is the over 600 square meter ice skating rink, which this year also features a curling rink. The weekly family day is particularly family-friendly, where parents with children can benefit from discounted offers. A varied entertainment program also ensures a great atmosphere: in addition to the ice disco on Wednesdays from 18 p.m., there are live performances by various music groups from Thursday to Sunday. Children and adults can also create their own ceramic pieces in a creative workshop.

Another highlight is the visit from Santa Claus: Santa Claus comes four times with angels and Krampus and hands out presents. Visitors can also enjoy a trip through the airport with lights. Those arriving by car can park for free for three hours in the P20 car park using a special QR code.
